The strip of coast from Santa Teresa Beach down to Cabo Blanco Reserve boasts over a dozen IGFA world records and is one of the best in Costa Rica for year-round catches. Here, you find Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Snook, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Blue and Black Marlin and Roosterfish.

Besides fishing, you will see an abundance of birds and aquatic life. The rocky Cabo Blanco Island is a rookery for marine birds, with a huge concentration of pelicans and the largest colony of brown boobies in Central America. The birds know the best fishing spots!
